Our Los Angeles Chapter was formed in 2019 and is organizing public health workers in the Los Angeles area of California to take action on local, regional, and state social justice issues that impact health and equity. We are partnering with local organizations and campaigns to support their work by bringing in a health lens and showing up visibly as public health workers.
2020 California Voter Guide
Our voter guide applies a public health lens to the different measures and propositions on the upcoming November 2020 ballot for the purpose of providing voter recommendations based on our assessment of their impact on health, equity, and racial justice.
Racial Justice and Health Equity in Los Angeles
Our collective health in Los Angeles improves when all of us are healthy, safe, liberated, and thriving. Public health works to protect and promote the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of whole communities and the individuals within them.
